Saluting Strong Families

Do you know a military family member who has left a lasting impression on his or her community? If so, the National Military Family Association asks you to submit his or her name to one of three programs that recognize their contributions.
The NMFA Family Award salutes families that exemplify the best of the military lifestyle and demonstrate the theme, "Strong Families, Strong Force." The Very Important Patriot program recognizes exceptional volunteers. Both programs award cash prizes. For nomination packets and detailed information about each program, go to www.nmfa.org.
The American Veterans Awards, aired each year on the History Channel and American Forces Network, honors military spouses according to several categories. Nominations may be submitted online at www.avashow.com.
